Full Bathroom Renovation Start to Finish

This fall I'll be participating in the One Room Challenge sponsored by Apartment Therapy. Follow along for 8 weeks while I completely overhaul my hall bathroom.

I chose my hall bathroom for the One Room Challenge because it is one of the few remaining rooms in my house that is completely untouched. I haven't even attempted any styling or cosmetic fixes simply because young kids don't really know how to take care of a space! But now that the kids are a little older, I am trusting them to take better care! Plus, they'll have a stake in the design choices along the way, so I think that will intrinsically encourage them to pay attention, not break things, and keep it tidy. Let's hope...

This bathroom has a double vanity and a full tub with shower. I'll be installing wallpaper, replacing the tile in the shower and adding tile all around the room as a chair rail (see above: many children). New sinks, faucets, and fixtures. New mirrors and lights, and a simple no-demo floor refresh. Plus, because a bathroom is an excellent place to be a silly goose, we'll be adding some fun design and decor touches that you will LOVE(R) and from morning to (MID)NIGHT(S) hint hint.
